Job Summary

Spot is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with proven experience in fit-out and construction projects within Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating day-to-day project activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant authorities, and supporting the Project Manager in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

This position requires a strong understanding of local regulations, a proactive approach to coordination and documentation, and the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and government entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities between the site, office, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress against timelines and deliverables.

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on permits, drawings, and approvals with relevant Abu Dhabi authorities, including ADM, ADCD, ADDC, DMT, and Civil Defense.

• Ensure all works comply with Abu Dhabi building codes, standards, and HSE regulations.

• Review drawings, specifications, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance with approved designs.

• Assist in preparing work programs, progress reports, and As-Built documentation.

• Coordinate inspections and authority approvals, ensuring close-out of all conditions.

• Maintain comprehensive project records, documentation, and communication logs.

• Identify potential risks, delays, or non-compliance issues and escalate them promptly to the Project Manager.

• Support project close-out and handover, including snag rectification and completion documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience in construction and fit-out projects, with a minimum of 2 years in Abu Dhabi.

• Strong knowledge of AD regulatory procedures (ADCD, ADM, ADDC, DMT, etc.).

• Experience with Estidama compliance and/or ADNOC projects is an advantage.

• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
